Chairpersons' Message 2025

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our pleasure to warmly invite you in May 2025 to the city of Hasselt in Belgium for the fifth edition of the international tandemPV Workshop! Nicknamed "the Belgium capital of taste", the city of Hasselt is ready and eager to welcome the scientific community working on the next generation of photovoltaic technology.

During the four successful previous editions, the tandemPV Workshop evolved into a dynamic platform for researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts in the booming field of tandem photovoltaics. The 2025 tandemPV Workshop will again offer the opportunity to exchange knowledge, network, present your own research results and discuss the latest tandemPV developments with international experts.

This fifth edition will focus on topics such as innovative materials and fundamental research for bottom and top devices, characterization and modelling of tandem devices, upscaling and industrialization, sustainability and circularity, reliability and stability, indoor and outdoor testing, and energy yield and bankability of tandem devices.

The format of the 2025 tandemPV Workshop will encourage active participation, insightful discussions, and the exchange of ideas in order to enhance our collective knowledge. In addition to invited keynote speakers, you can expect many oral and poster presentations, for which we eagerly await your abstract contributions.
